These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ChargeHiveEV, a subscription-based platform operated by Lotus Scientific Solutions ("Company", "ChargeHiveEV", "we", "us", "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the ChargeHiveEV application or services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

1. Definitions

• Platform: The ChargeHiveEV mobile application, website, and related services.
• User: Any individual who registers on ChargeHiveEV.
• Host: A user who lists a private/home EV charging point.
• Guest: A user who searches for and uses charging points.
• Master User: A user with both Host and Guest privileges.
• Subscription: Paid access to ChargeHiveEV features.
• Session: A charging interaction between Host and Guest.
• Company: Lotus Scientific Solutions.

2. Nature of the Platform

2.1 ChargeHiveEV is a technology platform and facilitator that enables EV users to discover and connect with each other.

2.2 ChargeHiveEV does not:

• Provide EV charging services
• Own, operate, or maintain charging equipment
• Process charging payments
• Control electricity supply
• Guarantee charging availability, safety, or outcomes

2.3 All charging transactions, pricing, payments, and agreements occur directly between Hosts and Guests.

3. Eligibility

• 3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use ChargeHiveEV.
• 3.2 By registering, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and all information provided is accurate and current.

4. Account Registration & Responsibilities

• 4.1 Users must create an account to access the platform.
• 4.2 You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality, all activity under your account, and updating accurate information.
• 4.3 ChargeHiveEV is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by user negligence.

5. Subscription Plans & Fees

• 5.1 ChargeHiveEV operates on a subscription-based model.
• 5.2 Available plans include: Free, Guest Protocol, Master Control, Host Node, Dealership Edition.
• 5.3 Subscription durations: Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly.
• 5.4 Subscription fees grant access only to platform features.
• 5.5 Subscription fees do not include charging costs.

6. Payments & Billing

• 6.1 All subscription payments are processed via authorised third-party providers or app stores.
• 6.2 ChargeHiveEV does not collect or process Host-Guest charging payments, cash, or UPI transfers between users.
• 6.3 Subscription fees are non-transferable.

7. Charging Payments Between Users

• 7.1 Charging payments are made directly between Guest and Host via cash, UPI, or any mutually agreed method.
• 7.2 ChargeHiveEV merely displays pricing information set by Hosts.
• 7.3 ChargeHiveEV bears no responsibility for overcharging, undercharging, payment disputes, or failed payments.

8. Host Responsibilities

Hosts are solely responsible for:

• Ownership or legal authority to offer the charger
• Safety and maintenance of charging equipment
• Compliance with local electricity laws
• Pricing decisions
• Availability and acceptance of bookings

9. Guest Responsibilities

• Verifying charger compatibility
• Using equipment responsibly
• Making timely payments
• Respecting host property

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChargeHiveEV shall not be liable for:

• Personal injury
• Property damage
• Electrical faults
• Charging failures
• Data loss
• Financial loss

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Suspension & Termination

• 11.1 ChargeHiveEV may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, fraud, abuse, or misrepresentation.
• 11.2 Subscription fees are non-refundable upon termination due to violation.

12. Governing Law

• 12.1 These Terms are governed by Indian law.
• 12.2 Courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
